Look What Is Eating My Virginia Gold Tobacco!

Tobacco Worm

I'm not sure about garden pests eating tobacco but I imagine they get a quick rush from that niccotine.  I found this little worm eating the center portion of one of my tobacco plants.  I just picked him off and flung him into the woods.  I planted the 5 tobacco plants outdoors in Wisconsin 3 weeks ago and they seems to be taking off.  Some better than others.  I'm anxious to see how big they get.  I put down wood ashes before I planted them and once planted I put some 10-10-10 fertilizer around the plants.  I'll do that once a month since tobacco is a heavy nutrient eater.  Below are some other photos of the plants.
