2012 / 2013 Indoor Hydroponic Kick Off October 28th, 2012

Hydroponic Tomato in Deep Water Culture and Hydroponic Cucumbers in Deep Water Culture.  The tomato is a Hoy tomato that I cloned from my best outdoor plant.  It has just started to take off and looks very healthy.  I'm a little afraid as to how big it will get knowing that they grew over 10 feet tall outside. 

These cucumbers I started from seed and got the Seeds from Johnny's Selected Seeds.  They are a variety called Diva which only produce female flowers so that I do not need to pollinate them.  Last year I grew an heirloom cucumber which was very difficult to pollinate.  I probably waited too long to put these in the hydroponic unit (12 days) due to work but they seem to be growing just a bit.  I may start a few more just in case.  Stay tuned for more updates and more stuff just starting.
