Hydroponic Bell Peppers Outdoors

People have asked me in the past if I have ever grown in hydroponics outdoors.  The answer is yes and the plants do excellent with all that free sunlight.  I came across a few photos of bell peppers I grew in 2009.  I had them on my driveway.  It was a learning experience to grow outdoors because I had to deal with high winds a few times and the plants don't have the support they need to stay upright.  Anyway, here are some photos:
